Assessment Cycle Guidelines

  • Program-level assessment: three-year cycle
  • General Education/Pathways assessment: three-year cycle
  • CUNY-mandated Program Review: every seven years (if a program is accredited by an outside organization, it must submit its Accreditation Self-Study on a cycle stipulated by the accrediting body)
  • AES Unit assessment: up to five years, at the discretion of the Division Head (a three-year cycle is recommended)
  • CUNY-mandated External AES Unit Review: cycle recommendation pending
